This piece is a 1 of 1 inkjet transfer and mixed media magazine collage on canvas. A transfer is an inkjet image printed onto clear acetate (think overhead transparency for those that are old enough to remember), a layer of gel medium is applied to the ink side of the acetate, and the image is pressed onto the magazine pages. The torn magazine pages are attached to the primed canvas with archival PVA glue. White and blue acrylic paint is added over the top to dull the colors of the magazine pages. The artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity, is signed on the back, and ready to hang.
